The Other Side Of Me

This Blog is a documentation, a day-to-day account of my coming out process. This is here so people can read, and see where i've made mistakes and where i've made progress, so that during their coming out they can attempt to avoid or emulate those things. It is also here, to show the struggle me and many others have faced, when coming to terms with our sexuality.

Template Progress:

Just posted my new template on another temporary blog, this is just so you can see what it looks like. So far I only have the sidebar working, I’m going to be working on the major part in a little while.

If anyone sees any error at all tell me, I have it working in IE and the Newest Firefox (the firefox has two differences I can see, but they are sooooo insignificant I doubt I’ll change them). If you think it sucks tell me what’s wrong, I want to learn from my mistakes and try to fix them. I think that an image or two is off a shade, but I’ll have to wait until I get my sister's laptop to look at it, my monitor isn't as sharp as my sister's laptop's LCD.

EDIT:
I was wondering if you though i could get in trouble with blogger, if i hid their banner under my page? LOL... i know the answer to that one. i've been in trouble for doing it before with an old webpage i used to have. So i might not add that feature. :) I bet that will never make there blogger hacks section. :)

I like it! :) Works fine in the newest version of Mozilla. I think you might be right about the images, though. It's a little bit hard to read things on the sidebar. But other than that, c'est trés magnifique. And I bet I botched that sooooo badly.

As for the ads: yah, they're kinda picky about that. They really shouldn't make them so easy to circumvent, though, if they don't want you doing it. Yup, putting a banner that's generated by JavaScript in exactly the same place in the code of every page output by the server is not the way to enforce the displaying of said banners... *Cough*

I'm glad that you two like it, but there is still something that I don't like about it. It might just be that I made it. Also I think that another thing I don't like about it is that on the sidebar there are just two different images repeating (the gashes that separates the items), i would make more but I want to keep the image number down. Or maybe a reason I don't like it, is because it has nothing unique about it. Another reason might be that I’ve been seeing the same design for like 2 days now.

@Brent:
Being able to read it Cleary, is a big issue I have with it, after I get the basics (like getting it to show posts) I might try to change up the colors, make them brighter or something. Like my first Computer Programming Teacher always said, "Make it Work, Make It Fast, Make It Pretty".

@Koge:
I like your block headers.
