The Other Side Of Me

This Blog is a documentation, a day-to-day account of my coming out process. This is here so people can read, and see where i've made mistakes and where i've made progress, so that during their coming out they can attempt to avoid or emulate those things. It is also here, to show the struggle me and many others have faced, when coming to terms with our sexuality.

Formal Report

“This was by far the most interesting and involved paper I’ve read. Your content was very good and you made strong point to prove your case. Wonderful job.”

Woot… that’s what my Biz Comm Teacher wrote on my Formal Report over my topic of my upcoming Oral Report.

That report wasn’t easy. When she assigned it to us she told us that it had to be 3 to 6 pages; I was ok with that, I would have to skip a couple things to fit it in 6 pages; then she dropped the bomb, it had to be double spaced. I was like WTF, how am I going to fit all this crap on only 6 pages when it has to be double spaced? I managed, but I did have to single space the headings to make it all fit, It flowed over onto 7 pages before. I got it back with some goods and that above, but there were also a lot of errors in punctuation and shit. She also marked off for using 1st and 2nd person views, but it didn’t feel right to say ‘Them’ or ‘They’ when talking about homosexuals. Nevertheless, I got a decent grade, and now I have to start to work on the oral report, which I have to give Tuesday.
