IFC get TV Station Of The Weekend!

Seriously... All the TV I’ve watched in about a week has been IFC; and two days ago was the first time i ever watched IFC.

I just finished up "Boy's Don't Cry"; Well let me tell you... this boy did cry. That was a fucking sad ass ending. Now i seen some shit at the end that leads me to believe that it was based on some sort of true story [dates]... i now must check if that is so..........

Ok it's based on a true story... I was pretty sure it was, i didn't think that people would just make up dates and shit, but hay, you never know.

Based on actual events. Brandon Teena is the popular new guy in a tiny Nebraska town. He hangs out with the guys, drinking, cussing, and bumper surfing, and he charms the young women, who've never met a more sensitive and considerate young man. Life is good for Brandon, now that he's one of the guys and dating hometown beauty Lana. However, he's forgotten to mention one important detail. It's not that he's wanted in another town for GTA and other assorted crimes, but that Brandon Teena is actually a woman named Teena Brandon.
