The Other Side Of Me

This Blog is a documentation, a day-to-day account of my coming out process. This is here so people can read, and see where i've made mistakes and where i've made progress, so that during their coming out they can attempt to avoid or emulate those things. It is also here, to show the struggle me and many others have faced, when coming to terms with our sexuality.

Me and the Girls.

It was girls night last night. Wooo Me and the Lesbians hung out at the center. No guys showed up, besides myself, and stayed. When i first got there, the two guys that were there were heading out to go around Tulsa. So it was me and the girls. We watched 'Monster' on Showtime and The girls shot pool. After about 1/2 an hour someone i hadn't seen before showed up. She sat and talked a bit, then checked out a book, then left for a play. So an hour after that, a new guy showed up. And i'm not talking new to me, new to everyone... new to Tulsa... new to Oklahoma... new to... Ok ok, he is from the U.S.

He stopped in, and was looking around; he asked us what it was like in Tulsa (was there a Gay Ghetto). The girls told him no, but that they have a suspicion that all of Tulsa is gay. He told us that he came in, and was looking around 'cause he might be moving to Tulsa. He's a Card Dealer. See, in Nov we not only passed the Anti-gay Marriage thing, but also another thing to allow Casinos to provide card games. So, i guess, they flew him in, offering him a job. Well after awhile he left, and two other people showed up.

One was a person i met last week, the other was a straight female. It was funny, just before i left, we were all standing in the pride shop, and she picked up a Leather Pride Sticker, and asked what was that. So the person she came in with had to explain to her some of the stickers; like the leather pride and Bear stickers. Then she was looking at this Dog Leash (it was next to the Dog ID tags, you know for your pets, Perverts) and asked something along the lines, "If you have this they think your..." and the person she came with told her "Depends on how you take it." Then she looked at the Fireman Calendar. God those guys were hot. And she turned to the lesbian, and showed her the picture and said, "oooh he is hot", i have to agree, but the lesbian said, "i guess, if your into that".

So i headed home, and stopped into Wally-World, trying to find a connector to convert RCA audio jacks into a lil' Headphone jack thing. No luck, but when i was walking back to the Electronics Dept. Someone in the Magazines said, "He's gay". They seen my Sweatband! I guess not every person in the MAGAZINE/BOOK Section of Wally-World is Totally Retarded. Really, WTF is up with all those shitty ass magazines and books at Wal-mart? Anywayz, i just looked back, and they were teenagers (as i expected, cause at least and old ass betty would have whispered it like it was dirty), i smiled and they huddled like they did something wrong. Yea, i'm gay, i don't care! Tell your friends; especially if they're hot.

So i didn't find that lil' Adapter, so i headed home, but not before getting myself my First Pepis of the year. It was a winner! So i got myself 'Ain't Nobody Straight In L.A.' now i have to burn it to CD so i can rip it as an MP3; just because i hate copy protection.

Also before stopping in at the center i went to Borders to pick up 'one nation under god.' But, to my surprise, they didn't have it in; even though the website said that it was in stock at the Borders on Yale. So i picked up "Relax... It's Just Sex!" and ordered 'One Nation Under God'; It should be in within a week. Relax was a pretty good movie, it did have an AIDS story line, but didn't focus entirely on that. It just showed a group of friends going about their life.

I also, on Thursday, picked up 'Bent'; and that had a even more 'un-happy' ending as 'The Trip', but it too was a good movie.
