The Other Side Of Me

This Blog is a documentation, a day-to-day account of my coming out process. This is here so people can read, and see where i've made mistakes and where i've made progress, so that during their coming out they can attempt to avoid or emulate those things. It is also here, to show the struggle me and many others have faced, when coming to terms with our sexuality.

I’m gay, Stupid!

Last night was the first night they advertised the movie night in their Newsletter, and it got quite a few more people there. They also had started on the new Cyber center. So far only 2 PCs were up, but they have more, just need to hook them up, after getting the desks all in place.

We watched 'a touch of pink'. i didn't get to see much of it, i was helping the Bi-chick with the digital camera, but what i did see i liked. I also picked up two new movies: 'Billy's Hollywood Screen Kiss' & 'Torch Song Trilogy'. Both Really Good.

After the movie, we hung around talking, and something odd happened. I was talking to this one guy and we were talking about movies, and i told him about my Sci-fi class and how we suppose to read a movie for a project, and we were talking about how the X-men movie was about homosexuals. Really! Think about it, they gain there powers during puberty. They have a genetic Difference, which makes them hated by 'Mutant-phobes'. And come-on Cyclops is Clearly a Penis and Storm & Rouge are Lesbians.

Cyclops: One eye - One eyed weasel? Blasts people in the face with his 'beam'... seriously!

Storm: Makes Tornadoes - Tornadoes suck - Vacuum Cleaners Suck - Vacuums clean Carpet...!

Rouge: Can't touch a man!!!

AND BEAST (if he was actually in the movies): CAN YOU SAY BEAR!?!

And look at Colossus, he's a muscle queen!

and Xavier... most of all him... he has... GAY-DAR!!!

AND MAGNITO!!! PLAYED BY A GAY ACTOR!

The whole bunch of them are queers.

Anyways, after we talked a bit about x-men, he had to use the bathroom, so i went up to Kevin, and he said:

"Hay, we're not suppose to say anything like this, but we're all excited that y'all might get together" or something to that effect.

What is weird is that i totally forgot. Yea, i totally forgot that i was in Queer Central. It hit me like a ton of bricks, they were gay... not that i didn't know, it just that i wasn't thinking in that mindset at the time. It was funny. Here i was, just finished up watching a Gay love story, and talking about drag queen movies, but still not in the 'Everyone around me is fabulous' mindset. I guess I’m going to have to make them wear shirts that say “I’m gay, Stupid!” or something.
