Imagine This...
3 Gay guys and one Lesbian...
Then Imagine, that we are adding a stand for the Big Screen TV. What does that look like?
Stereotypical Hilarity!
Ok I went to the Center again, today. Borders Called, and said the movie was in, just before I left, so I fallowed my little sister to her BF’s house to drop off some shit; then I had to drive all the way on the other side of Tulsa to the Borders that had it; Then I had to drive over to the other side again to the center!
When I arrived, they had new stuff! They got some new equipment for there big screen TV. So they needed a place to hold the new equipment; they bought this thing, that looked like a little coffee table, but was for TVs. A person that I’ve never met before bought it with some donated money, I think. So she went to best buy to pick it up, and came back. She needed help to take it from her truck (yep, truck, no surprise ;)) She suggested 4 people.. I was insulted. She said it was heavy; it ‘twas not. I guess since this was bascilly, the ‘house of gays’, it take 4 of us to equal 1 straight guy. Wrong! It’ only took 2 of us to equal one straight guy :). Well, we probably could have done it alone, but why?
So we got it in there, then came the fun part. Putting the big screen on it.. not that the big screen was heavy.. it wasn’t. It just had wheels on the bottom. We got it up on the thing, and looked under and seen that the wheels were just screwed on. Surprise Surprise! A lesbian had all the power tools we’d ever need.. in her truck! But that didn’t help. We couldn’t use the power tools, they wouldn’t work in that space. So it was manual labor or gay guys watching a lesbian do what lesbians do. We had the woman that got the thing that the TV was on, to go under there and unscrew them.
We got everything unscrewed, and all the equipment on the shelves; so we decided to test the equipment. It worked!!! Or so we though at first. There was no sound. We tried and tried to make the surround sound thing to work, but it wasn’t happening. So I got back there and jerry-rigged it so we could at least watch a DVD with sound; by bypassing the surround sound and making the audio go directly through the ports in the back of the TV.
We watched, ‘One Nation Under God’. It was depressing; but we knew that before going into it. It was also informative, and really makes you think that those ‘Exodus’ and ‘Focus on the Family’ people are not only crazy, but also fucking retards. Not that they are fucking retards, but that they are fucking retarded; well maybe they are fucking retards, ya’ never know. But it was a nice little history lesson; and the former ‘ex-gays’, who where counselors once upon a time for Exodus, were the greatest.
I also bought Girl Scout Cookies from a little boy… he’s so going to be gay when he grows up; I’m so happy for him.
