Fred Phelps Is Pure Evil....
Since I said that

Now, I’m not trying to limit his freedom of speech; by saying that he shouldn’t be allowed to do this, but just pointing out how evil this 'man' is. This 'man' even had a gathering outside of Mr. Rogers’s funeral, saying that he was in hell. WTF... It's MR - FUCKING - ROGERS! He could go on a murderous rampage, and still people would like him, so what’s the big fucking deal with Fred Phelps? It was because he [Mr. Rogers] was a Presbyterian and, according to Fred, they [him and his wife] were 'fanatical promoters of the filthy sodomite lifestyle' (I must of missed that episode).
He also has a counter that counts from the time Matthew Shepherd died to today, saying that’s how long Matthew Shepherd has been in hell (I don't see how anyone can fallow this piece of shit). If anyone deserved pain and suffering, he does, not Matthew Shepherd.

Just Making Myself Feel Better:
Does Fred Phelps Remind you of someone? How about the bad guy, Kain, off Poltergeist? What is sad is that he's a preacher too. If he starts saying, "god is in his holy temple", I’m going to call Ghostbusters.

Seems like salvation come only in our dreams.
I feel my hatred grow all the more extreme.
Hey God, can this world really be as sad as it seems?

The murder of Matthew Shepherd also makes me sick to this day; it also showed me how extreme hate could be. It sill amazes me that they though that they were justified to put on that spectacle at his funeral. It makes me angry just thinking about it. I don't know what I would do if I ever met Phelps, but I can tell you I would make the news.
I like to think that I do not hate anyone, truly hate anyone, but Phelps crossed that line 5 miles ago. And when he does die, while you make the counter, I’ll make the signs that read "Fred Phelps Sucks Cocks In Hell" (I’m going to watch the new Exorcist tomorrow :) ), and "Phelps was gay". And when he’s buried I’m going to piss on his grave, because of all the shit he has caused, hell I might shit on it (so it would be symbolic).
I hope everyone wakes up one day, and sees the evil of this man; then stand by us.
This is your world, in which we grow. We will grow to hate you.~ Marilyn Manson---
Not only evil, but also stupid. Like I said, I don't want anything special, I just want what everyone else is entitled to. Is it so bad giving us the same rights as everyone else?
And the whole hate crime thing... WTF is their problem not including sexuality as a potential factor in a hate crime? I want the same right as a straight man/woman has, not to be discriminated against and when I am to be able to recognize it for what it is. I want straight people to also know that they would be included in that, if a gay storeowner fires based on sexuality, by all means that too is discrimination. But now, I know for sure in Oklahoma, people can make you leave a restaurant/hotel/[any other place] based on your sexuality and it not be considered, legally, discrimination. And they don't see a problem here?
OMG, that site is the most perverse bastardization of the otherwise innocuous concept of "God" that I've ever seen. Most people who call themselves christians consider it a reason to be decent people, but Mr. Phelps seems to consider it a reason to be the most unimaginably dispicable bastard he can be. There are exceedingly few people in the world that I can wish eternal damnation upon, but he is definitely among them. As an agnostic, I tend to doubt the concept of hell, but Fred Phelps is enough to make me hope I'm wrong. I desperately want there to be a place for him to burn for eternity.
After viewing the pinnacle of Phelps' bastardization (his website), I did a search on netsol.com to see if godhatesfredphelps.com was available for registration. Alas, it was not, so I had a look at the site. http://www.godhatesfredphelps.com/ exists, but is a little disappointing in its magnitude. A WHOIS search on the domin reveals the registrant is located in New Haven, CT - about half an hour south of me. I'm tempted to call the number listed in the registrant information to talk to the person who owns it. Perhaps since they aren't doing much with it, they'd be willing to let someone else. I just may do that today. Maybe I'll try the email address first, though.
As for Fred Phelps' eventual death: I hope to see Matthew Shepherd's family standing outside holding signs depicting Freddy boy burning in hell. I'd also love to be standing there with them.
I too am agnostic (well most of the time), an I too kind of hope I’m wrong; I just want a nice warm place he can go to, and suffer for eternity. I also knew that there was a http://www.godhatesfredphelps.com/, but when I tried to bring it up I had a error occur (‘could not find server’ error) and I didn’t know if it sill existed, so I didn't post it.
And when that asshole does die, I want to be there, so I can have a good laugh. And I would also like to attend that joyous occasion; his funeral.
the good thing (is there such?) about having phelps around is that it reminds those who are ambivalent or in the center about the gay issue that there are extremists out there who are trying to make their hate become law. in some weird way, i think that phelps helps our cause by reminding gays and non-gays that there is a struggle here and we need to ACT.
thanks for this post!
Good point, but I still hate him. Even if he was the only factor that makes the government grant us the rights we deserve; I'll still hate him. He made it where other people, the people protesting with him, think that it is ok to use any means necessary to spread his message of hate. The didn't have any remorse after parading around Matthew’s funeral; they did put up a count of how many days since he passed and say that he's been in hell that many days, they also have the same 'monument' to another gay male that had died, Jim Wheeler. So no matter how little he helps, I will feel nothing except relief when he is dead, because he has deceived those that fallow him into thinking that it is ok to do these things. No matter how much I hate anyone or any group, I’ll never disrespect them in that way; except Phelps and other asses marching at Matthew’s and other innocent people’s funerals. Eye for an eye is a bitch. But nonetheless I see that you have a good argument, I guess my hatred for him out weighs any positive thing he might be a cause of.
