The Other Side Of Me
This Blog is a documentation, a day-to-day account of my coming out process. This is here so people can read, and see where i've made mistakes and where i've made progress, so that during their coming out they can attempt to avoid or emulate those things. It is also here, to show the struggle me and many others have faced, when coming to terms with our sexuality.

OMG! Wanda Sykes is the best! I loved her on Crank Yankers, talking about that turd in the back of her car... Looks like a gorilla took a dump back there... lol.
I had my suspicions, since it was a Sci-fi class... I haven't met too many women that appreciates sci-fi; actually the only other one i know of is the first person that told i was gay and i knew; My TCC Comp II teacher. So i was like, 'there is something special about this one'. Low-and-behold she came in and my gaydar was off the charts.
But i have seen one car, once before, that had a crap load of pride stuff. Haven't seen it since, so i might need to check the back parking lot. But she did look like the Truck type, not butch at all, but looks like she'd drive a truck.
and that picture of her, looks like she uses her arms to build shit... looks like she can nail any homophobes ass to a cross with them. also in the picture she is wearing a white wife beater, and a vest...
Oh and the jacket she was wearing, i don't know if this means anything, but the cuffs where rolled back, just exposing the cuffs of the shirt underneath. Not Really 'Rolled' but just folded back, so you can see the gold fabric, lining the inside of the jacket.
Maybe i can gay up one of my reports... we're watching
2001: A Space Odyssey
Forbidden Planet
Logan’s Run
Brother From Another Planet
Aliens
Blade Runner
A.I.: Artificial Intelligence

And Check out one of her course descriptions:
AMST3950: Gender and Popular Culture:
What does it mean to be a man or woman in contemporary American society? Where do our ideals of masculinity and femininity derive from? How have these ideals changed over time, and how are they related to issues of biological difference? This course will attempt to answer such questions through cultural analysis. We will begin with the assumption that gender is not necessarily the same as biological sex. Rather, gender is the socially constructed set of meanings that we make of biological difference. We will undertake an historical analysis of how our ideas of masculinity and femininity have come about and how they have been modified over time by examining popular cultural texts and practices in several areas: children’s culture, sport, music, film, TV, and print culture (2 novels, one from the 50s and one contemporary). Some of our examples will be drawn from historical texts and some will be contemporary. This arrangement will help us see how our ideas of masculinity and femininity have shifted over time and are, therefore, relatively unstable. Acknowledging the instability of our gender categories will, hopefully, enable us to demystify and challenge some of the connections between gender and power that shape contemporary social life in problematic ways. And in that course she has you read this:
*Alexander Doty, “The Sissy Boy, the Fat Ladies, and the Dykes: Queerness and/as Gender in Pee-Wee's World”
lol... yea, i had some minor doubts; still leaving a posiblity though, ya' know for good measure. but yea, she seems like she is going to be fun, our first class at least has been.
I have no idea about 2001, never watched it; the only ones i've watched out of that list were: Aliens and A.I. I really don't do the whole sci-fi either, i mainly stick to Horror, i know sometimes they overlap, but i rarely watch pure Sci-fi movies.
but i've decided to split the class up into: People there because it's a class over film [homosexuals]; people there because it's a class over sci-fi [nerds]. 'cause some of those people walk a little on the fabilious side.
