I ate a Tako

Anywho, i've tried a Tako Nigirii, which is Octopus (the only 'pus' i've ever put in my mouth... i couldn't help myself) and rice. It was good. I need to learn how to make it. So far, Tokyo Garden's Dragon (shrimp tempura, crab, cucumber, spicy tuna) is my fave; i also liked Asahi's Spicy Yellow Tail, but it was REALLY spicy, like "don't need Wasabi, Spicy". If you really like Wasabi The "Texan" from Tsunami Sushi is good, but it make my stomach upset because it had Wasabi and Jalapeno peppers and i added more Wasabi. But it's neat to try the different types of Sushi.

I'd like to know where is a good place to buy Sushi Grade Fish in Tulsa, so if anyone out there knows, email me.

But i tried Asahi's this weekend, it was good... and if you order 3 or more rolls the rolls are 1/2 price (3 rolls per person that is). The Semeseed Chicken Appetizer there was the Fucking Shit. I wish they had that as a meal... then i could get my sister to go eat there.

There are a few other different "Meats" i would like to try, so far i've had: Tako (Octopus), Ebi (Shrimp), Kani (Crab), Hamachi (Yellow Tail).. and some other stuff that i have no idea what they're called... but i would like to try Uni (Sea Urchin), Unagi (Eel) and Ika (Squid). The Tako was the most 'out there' thing i've tried... but it wasn't bad at all. It was a "Smokey" flavor. It had the lil "suction cups" too, since it came from a tentacle. This pic shows what it looked like, but it seems this one dosn't have the like "suction thingies":

Miso Soup is Also Awesome... i didn't like the 'Instant' Wal-Mart Crap, but the stuff at the places i've been kick ass. I wish Bristow had a Sushi Bar, or at least a Target with a Deli that carries Sushi. Even though i really don't care for the Target Sushi, it's still Ok... unless you're trying to eat in a moving car... which i do not recommend... Goddamn Soy Sauce.
