The Other Side Of Me

This Blog is a documentation, a day-to-day account of my coming out process. This is here so people can read, and see where i've made mistakes and where i've made progress, so that during their coming out they can attempt to avoid or emulate those things. It is also here, to show the struggle me and many others have faced, when coming to terms with our sexuality.

What Planet is he fucking from?

I just got back my Oral Presentation critique wanna See?
STRENGTHS:

  • Content was very interesting

  • Very intense presentation

  • Gained audience attention with questions, scenarios, etc. to make them think – very effective

  • Good organization

  • Excellent use of pitch/tone and pausing for emphasis and expression [told you I forgot where I was in good spots :)]

  • Volume and rate of speech were good.

  • Even though you were a little nervous, you stayed strong and presented you information very well

  • Showed you own personal interest in the topic

  • PPT presentation was good. You didn’t rely on it but rather used it to support what you were saying (Cracker Barrel, Home Depot, Brian Hughes, 2 father homes, etc.)

  • Nice quote by MLK

  • WEAKNESSES
  • Seemed to be reading from notes a lot (but followed them well)

  • A little nervous

  • Could have explained the stories you passed around a little more and directed audience to read them later.

  • Total Score: 57/60

Ok, after the final, I received that, and then went out to the hall. There was one of the guys I carpool with, he got done before me, and wanted to see what she said, so I gave him the paper. He read it. Then laughed and said, “She thinks you gay”. WTF! Uhhhhh yea. Maybe I didn’t use his native language when I told them; I just now need to know where the fuck in the solar system he originated from, and hope that Bablefish can translate. But i'd hope that where ever he is from, they'd still have the homo rainbow.
