Ok, i've found my headset... it sucks and i need a new one, but here you go... let me tell you girls it's a good'en.

I do say fuck alot, but amazingly not as much as i would. I stopped myself a couple times. It's when i'm nervous or excited i say fuck a lot!
Yep, i was hyper then shit... i did that post 2 times, the first had audio problems and it was like 15 mins when i realized that it was having problems.

Oh, yea. And thanks for DLing it... I know dial up is a pain in the ass, i still have it... i even had to upload it. But i did try to compress the shit out of that file. I think i did a ok job on that. 9mb for 38mins is good, but i don't know nothing about that :-)

One of the hardest things about this podcasting thing is that it takes a lot of time and energy...plus it's kind of expensive. I certainly understand how you feel about sitting there talking and being tired...it's kinda weird talking to yourself, especially at first, but you get over it.
I've never used audacity...hmm. I'm using the sound forge and ACID on the winders, and it's pretty good.
Actually 9MB for 40 min is all that bad. I've been compressing mine at different rates, the bitch is keeping the volume and shit correct and making sure it works on the iPod (which is what a lot of us use).
Oh, yeah, and you need to get the skype so we can holler (it's a fast download)! Also, you can get the voicemail to email thing from evoice or k7.net.
Question: How long did it take for you to upload it on the dialups?
I'm still wondering why Ogg Vorbis Didn't Take off (Ogg Vorbis is like an MP3 Except i think it's open source or something; and it saved me like 20MB on a 50MB MP3; Only problem is that a lot of audio players don't support it unless they have a plug in.)

Audacity is on Sourceforge.net, i haven't really used it much, but it records and it's free and open source. I keep forgetting about the Sourceforge.net they have some nifty, free, open source software. I even DLed an FTP thing from there to upload that MP3.

I have to use Audicity to record, then i save it as a WAV then use CDEx to encode the MP3. Those are probably not the best tools, but those are the ones i already had. :-)
I might have to check out those, because i like the lil fades you do.
Ummmmm... maybe use fruity loops to make a lil BG Music or something... that is, if i had any talent whats-so-ever using FL.

Ok, i have no idea, how long exactly it took me to upload... but it was around 1 1/2 to 2 hours. I just checked and me DLing your First Podcast, which was like 9 and some odd MB, it was an hour and a half DL time. I was going to upload it at the GLBT Center, but the computers are down.

My setup is kinda complex because I record into the iRivers and then mix the music and shit using the MaCUNT'tosh and Linux afterwards (unless I'm on the locations).
OGG didn't take off because Napster didn't concern itself with it back in the day.
Oh, yeah, you can get the soundforge software fairly cheap at the Best Buys. I think it is like $60 and ACID is like $70...not too much.

I want a small voice recorder, so i can record shit while i'm in the car coming home and/or going up to tulsa. I'd like to get an iPod and that lil voice recorder addon, but the one [Voice recorder] i seen didn't have a place for a different mic, you had to use the one on the device and its one of those that you have to hold to your face... i'd rather have a headset.
I remember hearing about OGG back in the day, and then nothing... and i even forgot about it until Audacity gave me the option to encode in OGG.
So i wonder when Video is next... Text to Audio to Video... i give it a few years.
I've changed the BG on my Comp... and the Pimpzilla. Other then that no customization. I need to make me a new BG, i really don't like the one i have...
I use to have a custom boot screen, but i tried to change it agian, and my comptuer froze and it wouldn't boot until i re-installed XP.
And i don't have a MySpace account... What is it? I've been outta the internet loop for awhile now.
