The Other Side Of Me

This Blog is a documentation, a day-to-day account of my coming out process. This is here so people can read, and see where i've made mistakes and where i've made progress, so that during their coming out they can attempt to avoid or emulate those things. It is also here, to show the struggle me and many others have faced, when coming to terms with our sexuality.

Isn't she great? I think so. If there is any b-horror-movie icon i want to be, it's Elvira. Did you know, Cassandra Peterson, or 'Elvira' is homo-riffic? Her second feature film, Haunted Hills, opened up Houston's Gay and Lesbian Film Festival. And before Elvira she was in a band that toured gay clubs.

HA! Fag-hag!

That Haunted Hills dvd finally got here, and well...it's different. It retained that cute Elvia b-rated silly-movie shit, though, which is kinda good.

I've been trying to find a song that's in the Elvira M. of the Dark movie. Watch the part where she's getting gas (first part of movie)...there's this song playing in the background (i.e. the retarded store owner's listening to it). It goes something like, "Chicken fried steak, o' chicken fried steak. Taters and gravy and beans on my plate. ... My teeth sink down into it; there ain't no mistake, there's nothing better than a chicken fried steak. ... Bring me some quarters, and make no mistake...." I HAVE GOT TO FIND THAT GODDAMN SONG!!!!! Go and listen to it!!

I'm still going to have to buy Haunted Hills, i haven't seen it yet.

As soon as i get some time, i might check the credits and see if they list that song... but i'm going to have to listen to it, i haven't noticed that song playing.

Mistress of the Dark is in the $5.50 bin at wally-world, i wish they had Haunted Hills in there. Borders on 21st claim they have it for $10, but when i got there it was more like $20... and like i told you, i only took $15 with me... because if i didn't i would have about $5 of Lotto Tickets.
